TPT API

In this section, the TPT API preferences can be configured.

Enable TPT API (RMI)

Select the checkbox to allow other programs to remotely control TPT by Java remote method invocations.

RMI binding name

Enter the RMI binding name.

Port

Enter the port number. The port number in TPT must be the same as the port number in the remote control program.

Host name

Enter the host name when using multiple network adapters, a special network configuration, or a Docker container. If you are running TPT via the command line -vm-Djava.rmi.server.hostname=<host name>, the command line prevails over the setting in the UI.

Leave this field empty or enter an empty string to use the IP address of the host where TPT is running on.
